The Role
The vacancy is that of a Housing Caseworker; this is a 3-month contract to be considered for extension and/or permanence.
Pay rate for this job is £12.00 (PAYE) or £14.50 (Umbrella).
Homeless Pathway Support Worker’s will work across services in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
This is a full-time job; 37.5 hours per week, typically working between Monday & Friday, 9AM to 5PM. There may be occasional flexibility required alongside this.
Our client champion flexible working and will happily accommodate adjusted working times around core hours, and also equip their staff with technology allowing for some-level of hybrid working. 
The Responsibilities
The post of a Case Worker is to provide a strategic and intensive support plan to rough sleepers recently accommodated, or ex-rough sleepers moving on from supported housing. This role will include liaising with landlords to secure and retain accommodation.
Coordinating referrals from partnering rough sleeper organisations, including Council Housing Officers, supported housing providers etc.  
Supporting clients in accessing additional support services where needed, e.g., welfare & benefits, education & employment.
The Requirements
Candidates must have access to a full UK driving license to accommodate travel between services and will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Experience held in working with vulnerable people with complex needs, including mental health, learning disability, challenging behaviour, rough sleepers and substance misuse.
Knowledge and working experience of relevant IT systems, such as MS Office, and the ability to complete admin work to a high ability.
Strong communicator and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of relevant supporting subjects, such as welfare & benefits, housing, education, employment etc.
Completed training in safeguarding and working knowledge of mental health. 
The Desirables
Qualifications in or equivalent to a Level 3 Health & Social Care NVQ or equivalent.
2-years of working experience held specifically working with rough sleepers or within a homeless charity.
