Busy Bee Recruitment partner with a variety of local healthcare, social care and education businesses to support them with their staffing needs on temporary basis and are currently seeking dedicated Care Assistant’s to join our friendly team of talented individuals in and around the Aylesbury area!
We offer a variety of agency shifts in the area in varying facilities supporting with ad-hoc needs on a temporary shift by shift basis, but also offer block bookings and temporary to permanent roles. As Care Assistant, you will be developing relationships with those in your care, encouraging their independence through supporting them with day-to-day tasks from preparing their meals to participating in activities in the local community and anything else in between including domestic duties and sometimes personal care. You will be a reliable and confident individual who has person-centred care at the forefront of all you do.
What will you be doing?
* You will deliver high quality support and care to vulnerable adults / children whilst promoting their dignity and individuality.
* You will provide comfort and companion ship to those in your care.
* You will promote independence.
* You will undertake observations on those in your care and will document this as necessary in their care plans.
* You will attend appointments, social visits, and days out with those in your care.
Suitable candidates should have:
* A minimum of 3-6 months previous experience within a residential care role
* A genuine passion and desire to help and care for vulnerable groups of adults / children
* A reliable schedule where they can commit to shifts
* A caring and professional mindset and attitude
Essential:
* Right to work in the UK.
* Full UK Driving Licence beneficial but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills.
* Satisfactory references.
* A valid in-date DBS certificate
