Vehicle Mechanic
M D Auto Care, a well-established and reputable garage in the local area, is currently seeking a Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.
The position offers a competitive salary of up to £39,000 per annum, depending on experience.
As a Technician at M D Auto Care, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles to a high standard, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
You will work alongside a team of experienced mechanics in a busy workshop environment, where the focus is on delivering quality work and providing excellent customer service.

We welcome applications from candidates with all levels of experience, but a fully qualified mechanic/technician is preferred. An MOT testing qualification would be a bonus, but not a requirement.
Vehicle Mechanic Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnosing and repairing vehicles to a high standard
* Carrying out MOT tests (if qualified to do so)
* Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner
* Liaising with customers to provide excellent service and explain repair recommendations
* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
* Participating in training and development opportunities as required
* Assist in day to day running of van hire franchise when required
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Mechanical and diagnostic skills
* Good attention to detail
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work well in a team
* Full UK driving licence
