Title: Telephone Sales Agent – Full Time, 12 Month FTC
Salary: £19,570-£22,660 per annum dependant on experience (OTE £28,000-£30,000)
Our client based in Aylesbury; Buckinghamshire is seeking a Telephone Sales Agent to join their team for a 12 Month FTC. The successful candidate will be dealing with inbound calls from customers to assist and provide quotations and policies for various insurance products.
Duties:
Making outbound calls to offer insurance quotations to existing customers and other warm leads
Providing accurate, rapid cost calculations and quotations
Dealing with inbound calls from customers to assist and provide quotations and policies for various insurance products
Ensuring customers are provided with the information they need to make an informed decision and purchase
Identifying customer's needs, highlighting product features and benefits of policies
Maintaining customer records and taking telephone payments in compliance with security protocols
Responding and following up on sales and service enquiries using appropriate methods of communication
Ensuring existing information held is accurate and up to date and all company and departmental policies and procedures are always adhered too
Carrying out additional duties as requested by management to meet business requirement
Attending training, meetings, and company events
Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Computer literate – Microsoft packages
Effective questioning and listening skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work to agreed performance targets
Team player
Be open to learning new things and be a fast learner
Have determination and perseverance
Educated to GSCE level or equivalent
Proven successful background in a sales and customer focused environment
To have a genuine interest in the health and wellbeing of animals desirable
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours a week working a rotational shift pattern between the hours of 9am and 6pm
Hybrid home and office days in the Aylesbury offices – fully remote also considered
