Technician
Do you have a background in Art, Tech (can include Food) and/or Sciences?
St. Michael’s Catholic School (Aylesbury Campus), requires a Technician either to work as part of our developing Art and Design Technology department (with some background in Food, Technology and/or Art) or to work as part of our Science team.
The job will include preparation of materials and resources across all their preferred disciplines delivered by the department, ordering, general housekeeping and supporting in lessons, as required, to ensure the health and safety of all pupils. The post holder should understand the importance of Health & Safety in a practical subject should have excellent subject knowledge in relation to use of the practical resources in their subject area and should be actively developing their abilities through CPD. You should be passionate about working with children and supporting learning and progress across all three areas and should have experience of working affectively as part of a team. You should be well organised, good at managing a wide range of resources and be able to demonstrate excellent planning and effective time management.
