SEN Teacher

Are you a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding role in an all through school setting? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at an SEMH School based in Aylesbury. Our school is specifically designed to support children who are not able to learn in mainstream settings, and we take great pride in the positive relationships we build with our students and their families.

As a teacher at our school, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to primary school-aged students with special educational needs, assessing and evaluating student progress, and adapting your teaching methods to meet individual needs. You will work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure the best outcomes for our students, and you will keep accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching students with special educational needs in a primary school setting
Strong knowledge of the curriculum and current teaching methods for students with special needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers
Commitment to ongoing professional development

Our school offers a supportive and inclusive environment, where every member of our team is valued and respected. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to become permanent after 2 terms. The daily rate is from £145-£225, depending on experience.
