Prep Vehicle Technician – Aylesbury
Salary: 40k + bonus + company benefits
My Client, a main dealer in Aylesbury is currently looking to take on a Prep Vehicle Technician / Prep Technician to join their team.
YOLO Recruitment will need someone with previous Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Motor Technician experience in a main and franchised dealership. Level 2 or 3 City and Guilds and a full UK DL. MOT License desirable although
Duties of the successful Prep Vehicle Technician / Prep Technician :
* Undertake vehicle road testing for diagnosis and to test repairs.
* Obtain appropriate authorisation if additional work is required on a vehicle.
* Build and maintain a high level of technical competence for diagnosing and servicing vehicles and utilise regular training and support information
* Be open to try new methods of work designed to improve efficiency.
* Servicing, repairs, PDI's on new and used vehicles.
* You believe in the 'fixed first visit' approach
* Diagnose standard faults and have excellent working methods & standards
* Carry out repairs to safety / MOT / manufacturer / warranty standards
* Reports faults and service requirements to the Workshop Controller
* Use your technical knowledge and skills
Hours of the Prep Vehicle Technician / Prep Technician : Monday to Friday 8.00 – 5.30. 1 in 2 Saturdays 8.00 – 12.00.
