I’m looking for a permanent, full/part-time marketing manager to join the team at Helen Pettifer Training Ltd.

I’m on a mission to challenge and evolve the whole ethos and culture of how we approach vulnerability within our communities, and I need you to help me achieve this. The key purpose of this role is to create an effective and measurable marketing strategy to increase engagement and lead generation and to execute and deliver on this strategy.

After 7 years of trading, you’ll be joining myself and the team at an exciting stage in the company journey as we accelerate the business in a niche but vital business industry. Whilst the majority of clients are national corporate financial services, I also work with utility providers, charities, and public sector as well as international clients.

My clients include: Standard Life, LV=, Hargreaves Lansdown, Hiscox Insurance, Citizens Advice, Welsh Water, Ofgem, Justgiving.

I’m looking for someone who understands what I’m looking to achieve, who is self-motivated and can work independently to meet deadlines with time to spare (I’m not someone who works last minute!) Your role provides the opportunity to be creative, bringing to life valuable and engaging marketing material, training resources and products. 

We can be flexible on exact working hours, and this will be 30 hours worked across 4-5 days a week. The salary will be dependent on experience and skills, in the range of £35 – 40K, which will be pro-rata. I am based in Aylesbury, and it is essential that the successful candidate lives within an hour of Aylesbury. The role will be home-based with regular in-person meetings.

Create, manage and execute a marketing strategy
Lead generation through LinkedIn
Lead generation through email marketing
Subscriber database management
Cross-selling to existing client base
Lead nurturing
Nurturing strategic partnerships
Website management
Event promotion
Edit, publish and market podcast and YouTube content
Create compelling and impactful visual content
Track and report on KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels, resources and products

Minimum skills and experience required: –

Must be 100% fluent in written and spoken English, with strong spelling and grammar
Confident in the use of a range of computer and digital platforms – including experience in using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Wix, YouTube and Canva
Knowledge and experience in accessibility, with a high focus on digital accessibility
Knowledge and experience of SEO – Content SEO (essential), technical SEO (highly desirable), backlink SEO (desirable)
Experience in marketing for SME B2B (essential) and in the financial sector (desirable but not essential)
Self-sufficient, proactive team player, who’s a quick learner, adaptable and results focused
Committed and passionate to make a difference to others in society
