Finance and Compliance Officer
Our client in the education sector has a lovely new opportunity for a secretary to manage the finances and compliance of the school on a full-time or part-time basis. You will be a friendly face for the organisation, who is happy to work in a varied and busy role, alongside the Admissions Secretary.

Finance and Compliance Officer Responsibilities

* Complete monthly bank reconciliation, fees ledger maintenance, purchase ledger invoicing and daily banking
* Ensure all pre-employment checks have been carried out
* Manage and maintain staff files
* Maintain the compliance calendar and book engineer visits and building compliance checks throughout the year
* Respond to enquiries either in person or by phone or by e-mail
* Answer the door to visitors and suppliers and take responsibility for the signing in and out procedure

Our client is looking for a warm professional with experience in a similar role managing finances, who is kind, friendly and positive, and happy to work in a front-facing role, providing support as needed.
You will have excellent communication skills, a professional and collaborative approach, and a willingness to be flexible and make positive changes.

Location
This is a full time, permanent role based in Aylesbury, however part-time 4 days may be considered. This is an office-based role during term time, with flexibility to work from home during the school holidays.
