NOTE: A background in electronics design / development is required.
This is a very exciting time for an experienced engineering professional to be joining this successful and expanding technology organisation. The company is involved with the design, development, and manufacture of innovative IoT devices (electronic sensors for condition monitoring and asset protection.)
The Technical Project Manager position requires:
* Experience of electronics design and development (first hand)
* Strong organisation, leadership, and project management capability, including external stakeholder management
* Excellent communications, problem solving and prioritising skills
* Excellent understanding of electronics product development and NPI
* Experience gained within similar product development environments would be useful (e.g., IoT, communications, sensors, low power electronics, etc.)
Project Manager – more:
As project manager, you will report to the VP and will be responsible developing project management process and the efficient delivery of product development projects bringing together multiple technical teams.
Currently project management is the responsibility of department heads. Hence, they seek an experienced engineer, engineering lead, or project manager with an electronics design / development background, and demonstrable project management capability.
Skills / Knowledge required: Technical Project Manager
* Ideally an HND / Degree in electronics engineering or similar
* Experience of electronics design and development (first hand) coupled with demonstrable project management experience (having delivered several electronic products)
* Strong organisation, leadership, and project management capability, including external stakeholder management
* Excellent communications, problem solving and prioritising skills
* Excellent understanding electronics product development and NPI
* Experience gained within similar product development environments would be useful (e.g., IoT, communications, sensors, low power electronics, etc.)
Others (beneficial): Project Manager
* Ideally Prince 2, APM or other similar formal project management qualifications
* Demonstrable experience of stage gate processes and working within small and matrix structured organisations

Location: Minimum 3 days in office. Commutable from Banbury, Bicester, Oxford, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford, Luton, Aylesbury, Stevenage, and Wellingborough
