A speciality chemicals distributor that proviude into the personal care and cosmetic manufacturing industries is looking to recruit a Technical Information Officer into their team of regulatory and compliance professionals.
Coming from a cosmetic science or chemistry degree, or perhaps from a previous position in a regulatory department, the successful applicant will use their excellent problem solving, organisation and communication skills, helping to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.
Key responsibilities
* Working with the Compliance Team in maintaining the Technical Database and all product technical files, specifications and Safety Data Sheets.
* Helping to coordinate and complete customers’ raw material information forms using technical database.
* Assisting R&D, Sales and Supply Chain departments to ensure that Compliance information is communicated quickly and appropriately.
* Communicating regulatory obligations and technical information to suppliers and customers.
* Assisting in the maintenance and monitoring of company sustainability goals and commitments.
* Ad-hoc projects as required by the Compliance department and other teams.
Skils and experience:
* A strong scientific education to at least A-level and preferably a degree in a scientific subject.
* Ability to commute to offices in Aylesbury daily (possibility of some hybrid work after successfully completing probationary period).
* A clear and concise communicator.
* Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
