Teaching Assistant

A new primary school is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school is currently 2 form entry with a capacity of 450. however, there are exciting expansion plans to accommodate up to 650 children, it really is a great time to join this already successful growing team.
The successful teaching assistant will be a graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience, someone from a care background or someone that would love the opportunity to support and inspire children.
You will work closely with the class teacher to provide support to children from KS1 to KS2. You will be responsible for helping and encouraging in some cases children with special educational needs (SEN) and those whose first language is not English as well as supporting small groups or delivering interventions and additional whole class support.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences for all children in the class.
Help children with SEN and those whose first language is not English, to access the curriculum and make progress in their learning.
Support small groups or deliver interventions and additional support to children as needed.
Supervise children during break and lunchtimes, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Support the class teacher with behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Key Requirements:
Experience working with children.
A passion for working with children and a commitment to providing a high-quality education for all.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
A willingness to be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
