Teaching Assistant
ASAP start until next July – Aylesbury- Working in a fast-paced Nursery Class – £80 to £90 per day – Potential to go permanent!
Job Description: A well-established primary school in Aylesbury is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be working with children who have very limited English-speaking ability and are at pre-school levels of development.
Person Requirements:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or relevant experience
Experience working in Early Years settings
Ability to engage, encourage, and support the development of young children
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
Willingness to work flexibly as part of a team
Understanding of child safeguarding policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the class teacher in delivering the Early Years curriculum
Planning and conducting small group and individual activities to support children's learning and development
Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
Monitoring and documenting children's progress and providing feedback to the class teacher
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
Assisting with the general supervision and well-being of the children
