SENDhelp is actively looking for Teaching Assistants for our partner school, located in the heart of Aylesbury, and is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students aged 6 to 19, equipping them with life skills, providing first-rate knowledge of the workplace, and inspiring them through a curriculum that meets their needs, interests, and abilities.

With a focus on supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), the ideal candidate will be resilient, a team player, passionate, and experienced in working with SEND students.

Responsibilities:

Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote student learning and development.
Providing one-on-one and small group support to students, offering guidance and encouragement to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
Supporting students with SEND in their individualised education plans (IEPs), including implementing strategies and accommodations to support their learning needs.
Assisting with classroom management, behaviour management, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Helping students develop their social and emotional skills, promoting their independence and well-being.
Assisting with administrative tasks such as preparing teaching materials, organising classroom resources, and maintaining records of student progress.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure the best possible support for students.Ideal Candidate Attributes:
