Our partner school is based in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire, and they are looking for a new SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged between 11 and 19 years old.

Your new school is a flourishing and thriving purpose build school that is fortunate to have wonderful facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, a multi-sensory, a soft play centre, a library, an observational mirror room, 2 therapy swing rooms, a theatre, and a training suite.

Your new school is a special educational needs school for children with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Complex Needs including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD) and PMLD.

As the new SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a well-resourced, purpose-built school that has recently been accredited as a 'Complex Needs School', which would recognise the increasing complexity of needs the children they cater for. You will be supported by a progressive and experienced senior leadership team.

Given this is a full-time, long-term role, SENDhelp are seeking to appoint an energetic and highly motivated SEN Teaching Assistant and we are open to speaking to all SEN candidates who have supported SEN pupils with the same/ or similar needs as mentioned above.

With your background in SEN, you will be fully committed to ensuring all children have an equal opportunity to access a creative and fulfilling curriculum; you will bring with you an energetic, strong, and resilient approach to engaging children with additional needs, so that you can drive your new class to develop, grow and achieve.
