GSL Education Watford are currently looking for an English Teacher to work at Client Secondary Schools located in Aylesbury to start as soon as possible.
Teacher of English Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering engaging and comprehensive English lessons to students based on the curriculum guidelines and educational standards of Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
Creating lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, asking questions, and participating actively in discussions.
Monitoring and recording student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance, and communicating this information to parents and school administrators as required.
Participating in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions to contribute to the overall improvement of the school and students' learning experience.
English Teacher Requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
Experience teaching English Literature and Language in the last 2 years.
Have recent teaching experience that can be referenced within the last two years (placements will be accepted for ECTs).
Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education.
