Tax Consultant – Aylesbury (3 days WFH) – 300 to 350 a day (Temporary to Permanent)
Our client is seeking an experienced part-qualified Tax Consultant for a fast-paced, complex business environment at a large organisation. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver VAT and Taxation compliance, financial control, and data integrity. Excellent development and progression opportunities available.
Their Financial Control and Accounting team ensures financial data integrity and a robust control environment. Led by the Chief Accountant, they provide VAT and Taxation advice, manage statutory financial reporting, and implement Treasury Strategy.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, responsibilities include:
* Providing VAT and Taxation advice to the organization
* Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance
* Monitoring partial exemptions
* Identifying tax planning opportunities
* Managing HMRC relationships and inquiries
* Executing Collection Fund activities
