Site Engineer / Surveyor Key Responsibilities:

Setting Out Groundworks: Precisely marking out the site, ensuring correct positioning of structures and infrastructures, using designs and plans as guidance.
*
Stockpile Surveys: Measuring and recording the volume of stockpiles to ensure accurate tracking of materials. This involves collecting data on-site and possibly processing it to calculate the volume.
*
Topographical Surveys (Topo Surveys): Conducting detailed surveys that map the contours, features, and structures on a particular piece of land. This requires a deep understanding of survey equipment and software.
Site Engineer / Surveyor Essential Skills and Qualities:

Previous experience in groundwork setting out, stockpile, and topographical surveys.

Comprehensive knowledge of survey methodologies and best practices.
*
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
*
Excellent communication skills, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.

High attention to detail and precision in all tasks.
Site Engineer / Surveyor Instrumentation:

Candidates who possess their own surveying instruments will have an advantage.
