We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our lovely primary schools in Aylesbury.
As a SEN TA, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require additional help in class. You will work with individuals and small groups, helping to build their confidence and helping them to achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate will be patient, understanding, and have a passion for working with children and young people. You will be able to build strong relationships with students, as well as with their teachers and parents.
This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 3:30.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, dyslexia, and ADHD.
* Providing one-to-one or small group support to help students with their academic progress.
* Assisting with the delivery of lessons.
* Monitoring and tracking student progress.
* Building positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
* Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management.
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience working with children or young people.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others.
* A positive and flexible attitude.
* A desire to learn and develop their skills.
