About the School – SEN TA / LSA
Starting at the earliest opportunity, this large specialist SEN school that focuses on children who have a range of different learning difficulties are looking to appoint several TA's who will work in small classes, supporting students on a one-to-one basis. You will be dealing with students that have ASD, ADHD and EBD. The students in the class have complex needs and can be challenging, but highly rewarding to work with. These students react well to calm and dedicated personalities who can help them succeed by finding out the way they learn and then helping them to understand the lesson accordingly.
Set in a large building and grounds, designed for students with special needs this school has consistently been graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. The school is totally inclusive and offers every student all the help they need to achieve their very best. Role requirements – SEN TA / LSA
A passion to help special needs students is the first requirement for this school every time
Ideally having worked in a SEN School would be an advantage although the school provides full training and development regardless of what stage your career is
Commitment to work with the school for at least the rest of the academic year as consistency is key for these pupils and the school
