Semi Senior Accountant

Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 p.a.

Location: Aylesbury

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for our well-established client who are a leading and fast growing practice in Aylesbury . As a result of the company's continued growth, they are looking for a professional, self-starting Senior Accountant to join their busy, friendly team

25 days holiday, plus bank holidays

Hours 8.30 till 17.00 with an hour for lunch

Study support – full financial support for on-line with BBP, and day of the exam and a day per exam as study

SKILLS REQUIRED

* Proven experience in a similar role

* ACCA or ACA Qualified

* Solid experience working for an accountancy firm.

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Pro-active and self motivated.

* Competent with MS Packages

* Good basic knowledge across accountancy service

* Self motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow

Semi Senior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Preparation of both corporation and personal tax and returns.

* Working accurately to strict deadlines.

* Providing an excellent service to clients.

* Preparation of accounts for Limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

* Preparation of statutory and financial statements.

* Preparation of tax returns and assessments for a range of organisational structures.

* Assist with VAT returns.

* Manage workflow and ensure client work is completed and delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner.

* Liaise with HMRC on client matters.

* Confidently liaise with clients, attending meetings and helping with queries.

* Support with general accountancy services and business advice.

* Work closely with senior team members.

* Promote and strive for customer service excellence.

* Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

* Excellent communication and attention to detail
