Are you passionate about teaching science with a strong focus on environmental and effluent-related topics? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Science Teacher in the heart of Aylesbury.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Science Teacher to join our client school. This position offers a unique opportunity to educate and inspire students in the field of science, focusing on Biology, Chemistry or physics.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and deliver engaging science lessons with a strong emphasis on environmental science and effluent-related topics
– Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving
– Provide hands-on laboratory experiences that enable students to explore and understand environmental science concepts
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop a well-rounded science curriculum
– Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports the academic and personal growth of all students
– Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in environmental science and effluent management.
Successful candidates will need to;
– Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
– Have at least 6 months experience working within a UK based school
– Have the ability to develop good relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues
– Have the ability to work in a team and also use your own initiative
– Have the ability to manage classes and deal with challenging behaviour
-Have excellent communication skills.
