You’re in the Water / Wastewater sector and you’re ready for a new challenge as a Sales Engineer / Account Manager. You might already be in sales, or you could be a hands-on Engineer looking for a change of direction. We design, manufacture, and install market leading water treatment plants all over the world while providing excellent service to our customers. You’ll be covering the UK from our office in High Wycombe.

BASIC SALARY: Up to £50,000

· Uncapped commission
· Car allowance / company car
· Hybrid working model (work 2/3 days per week from home)
· 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays

LOCATION: High Wycombe

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Our UK office is based in High Wycombe, but as this is a hybrid role, you’ll live a commutable distance to the office. You could be based in Reading, Slough, Watford, Oxford, Luton, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Beaconsfield, St Albans, Maidenhead, Windsor, Bracknell, Woking, Didcot, Abingdon, Thame, Bicester, Buckingham, Milton Keynes, Borehamwood, Harrow, Ruislip, Brentford, Staines-upon-Thames, Frimley, Fleet, Farnborough, Berkhamsted.

As our Sales Engineer, we want to nurture you into becoming our next Sales Manager and ensure you become an expert in our field. Along the way, you’ll be rewarded for all the business you bring in with our uncapped commission structure too!

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Engineer, Technical Sales, Account Manager, Area Sales – Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment

Reporting directly into the COO, our Sales Engineers are the primary sales contact within our UK division. This is primarily an Account Management role, nurturing prestigious business accounts with long standing relationships. With a hybrid working model, you’ll use your experience of the water and wastewater treatment sectors to grow our existing clients accounts and develop new business through leads via marketing campaigns and attending trade shows / exhibitions.

· Manage our customers accounts to maximise sales
· Control your sales pipeline – managing longer lead times and orders which can be in excess of £1million
· Manage quotes and follow up on potential new business
· Liaise between departments such as engineering and procurement
· Visit existing and potential accounts to up sell, cross sell and introduce our portfolio of solutions

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Engineer, Technical Sales, Account Manager, Area Sales – Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment

As our Sales Engineer, you’ve already worked in the water / wastewater sector, but you’ll receive full training on our products.

You’ll also:
· Demonstrate a proven track record in sales of water and wastewater treatment / services
· Be technically strong in environmental / chemical / water treatment / wastewater treatment
· Possess strong commercial awareness
· Have good interpersonal and communication skills

You may have qualifications related to environmental / chemical / water treatment / wastewater treatment or be trained through experience. Any exposure to international sales would be an advantage.

We offer a tailored solution package based on our clients specific water and wastewater treatment needs. We operate within the petrochemical, food & beverages, dairy and pharmaceutical sectors.

We’re actively hiring a sales professional from within the water treatment / wastewater treatment sector to advance within the company and take on additional responsibilities. The promotion to Sales Manager will be on the table for the right candidate.
