This is a full time, permanent position with potential for role progression.

Our client, a highly established supplier based in Aylesbury, is looking for a Sales Administrator (this would be a Business Development role) to generate profitable sales and new enquiries, through providing excellent levels of Customer service & product/technical support. Processing enquiries, quotes, orders and sales while seeking new Customers and arranging Customer visits/meetings either by phone/video or in person with external Sales Members or on your own as and when required.

Responsibilities:

* Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold calls, emails and lead follow-ups.

* Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements.

* Answering customer questions, resolving concerns and providing additional information where required via email, video, calls and visits.

* Explaining/demonstrating function and features of products and services they provide.

* Maintaining/improving the Customer database.

* Becoming fully compliant with all internal systems and processes.

* Researching new leads and markets.

* Keeping up to date with product and service information as well as competitor offers.

* Upselling products/services.

* Working with Internal and External team, including colleagues in Germany.

* Ensuring all enquiries are quoted within 24 hours and all orders processed in a timely manner.

* Enquiry logging and entry onto CRM and Business Central data base.

* Meeting or surpassing minimum levels of customer contact and enquiry levels.

* Checking correct products are ordered and drawings processed where necessary.

* Customer liaison regarding order process and delivery.

* Preparing information for meetings to discuss input, output and customer quotations.

* Liaison with other departments as required.

Special Requirements:

* Previous sales administration experience (essential)

* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

* Excellent customer service skills

* Previous sales & support with some technical knowledge

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and prioritise

Hours of Work: Mon-Thurs 8.30am-5pm / Fri 8.30am-2.30pm
