About the role
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team as we embark on a large-scale infrastructure project. The successful candidate will work closely with the project team and stakeholders to ensure that our project is delivered on time and within budget. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions, and providing expert advice to the project team.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of cost control, including the preparation of cost estimates, cost plans, and cost reports.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, including the preparation of contract variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
Provide expert advice to the project team on cost management, procurement, and contractual issues.
Manage the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with project requirements and company policies.
Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and company policies.
Provide regular reports to the project team and stakeholders on project costs, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in construction field
NEC experience in a MUST
Knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
