We are looking for a motivated Production/Design Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Design Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of design activity within the company. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team. The position will appeal to a strong design engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Role Description
To undertake tasks required to sustain production.To observe and understand inhouse manufacturing processes and undertake tasks required to improve processes.
Collaborate with departmental heads to design and develop these processes.
Create and implement work instructions (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
To seek and identify opportunities to make change to processes to increase efficiencies.
Identify new equipment that will improve manufacture speed and quality. Build and present a case for it.
To design and implement new manufacturing processes.
Skills and Qualifications
Solidwork experience
1-2 years experience in either a design or production role
Design qualification would be preferred
