Position: Music/Drama Teacher As a versatile Music/Drama Teacher, you will be an essential part of our creative team, fostering a love for music and drama among our students. Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging and comprehensive music and drama lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
Inspire students to explore their musical talents, develop vocal and instrumental skills, and delve into the world of acting and stagecraft.
Organize and direct school music and drama productions, providing students with exciting opportunities to perform and showcase their talents.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can express themselves freely and develop self-confidence.
Collaborate with other arts teachers and staff to create an integrated arts program that enriches the overall learning experience.
Requirements:
A degree in Music/Drama Education or a relevant field, along with appropriate teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent).
Proven experience as a Music/Drama Teacher, preferably in a school setting or through extracurricular activities.
Proficiency in teaching various musical instruments, vocal techniques, and theatrical skills.
Strong knowledge of music theory, drama techniques, and performance practices.
A creative and innovative approach to teaching that sparks students' passion for the arts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
