Job Role: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 DOE
Hours: 8:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 14:00 finish Friday
Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, market leading supplier of heat exchangers based in Aylesbury as they look to add a Multi-Skilled Engineer to their growing team. Our client has been established for over 100 years and have collaborated with global brands all over the world within an array of industries, including and not limited to, Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Renewable Energy and Defence. After a brilliant financial year for our client, they are now looking to grow the team and welcome a versatile engineer to the team to assist with the running of the plant.

The Role:
· Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on plant production machinery.
· Conducting planned and preventative maintenance on CNC, Shot Blasting and Press Machinery, as well as any other works needed in the facility.
· Following health and safety policies and procedures
· Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the facility, including plumbing work and facilities management where required.
· Monitor and analyse the technical aspects of the production installations optimise efficiency
· Provide technical support to internal stakeholders (on-site engineers, production, maintenance) and ensure first line assistance in relation to their area of expertise.
· Ensure plant layout changes and installations are completed within the required timescale
· Manage contractors on site and suggest continuous improvements to management to ensure the site is ran as efficiently as possible.
The Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years experience as a maintenance engineer in a production environment (essential)
· Multiskilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (essential)
· Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic capabilities (essential)
· Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) – Advantageous
· Previous experience within facilities management (advantageous)
· Knowledge of PLC systems (advantageous)
