I am currently working with one of my closest clients to recruit a Mechanical Engineer in Aylesbury on a full-time and permanent contract.

They are specifically looking for someone who has experience with reactive maintenance, fault finding, installations and testing. The suitable Mechanical Engineer will have:

Plumber qualifications to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing & Heating) and NVQ Lvl 3 in Plumbing or equivalent or NVQ Lvl 2, with substantial experience in a similar role

Familiarity with, and ability to work to Water Supply Regulations and Control of Legionalla L8 requirements

Experience of reactive maintenance, fault finding and resolution, installations, testing and commissioning

Day to Day responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineer:

–        To be accountable for the maintenance, installation & repair of mechanical equipment in line with the site’s maintenance requirements

–        To fault find and ensure satisfactory fault rectification

–        To ensure the site in always maintained to the agreed standard

–        The regular supervision of prisoners undertaking quality control over prisoner as agreed with the Service Specification
