Manufacturing Production Engineer – Aylesbury
Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Production Engineer for our Manufacturing client based in Aylesbury.
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000
Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm
Duties:
Observing and understanding inhouse manufacturing processes and undertake tasks required to improve processes.
Collaborating with departmental heads to design and develop these processes.
Creating and implementing work instructions (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
Seeking and identifying opportunities to make change to processes to increase efficiencies.
Identifying new equipment that will improve manufacture speed and quality. Build and present a case for it.
Design and implementing new manufacturing processes.
Skills and Requirements:
An understanding of SolidWorks
Ability to design jigs, fixtures, and tooling to aid the manufacture and quality of parts
Create engineering drawings for use both internally and externally
A clear and demonstrable understanding of engineering and manufacturing practices. Specifically, metallic
