An opportunity for a Manufacturing / Production Engineer from an industrial product background, to join a world-class innovative R&D, manufacturing, and engineering company. You will study requirements for each production process and product across our production plant, determining and implementing the most efficient operations.
BASIC SALARY: £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)

· Discretionary Profit Share scheme paid twice yearly (after 6 months qualifying period)
· Work hours Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.45pm and Friday 8am – 12.30pm

JOB DESCRIPTION: Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer – Technical Materials Components, Industrial Capital Equipment
This Manufacturing Engineer will be a hands-on role, helping us implement manufacturing processes that result in high-quality production improvements. Your focus will be on identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, designing processes, as well as ensuring cost-efficiency, and conformance with regulatory standards.
Overall, this position will provide you with a variety of interesting projects and challenges.
Your initial 0 – 24-month project timeline will be detailed during your 1st interview.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer – Technical Materials Components, Industrial Capital Equipment
· Identify, create, develop, and optimise manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness & quality.
· Programme CNC Machining Tools and CNC Lathes.
· Develop and train junior staff members; Equip senior Programmers for manufacturing routing.
· Continuous Improvement, Quality Cycle Time, Capital Investment, Maintenance Programmes.

You will have a high level of technical expertise, backed by a relevant technical manufacturing / production engineering qualification.
