Salary: Up to £43,000 (OTE £49,000)

Currently operating at near full capacity, the site has grown in recent years meaning that there is now an opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join the skilled team already on site that boasts Maintenance, Automation and supervisory engineers! The site is also new having only been built around the last 5 years meaning that you will be working with some of the latest technology on the market as they are always looking at upgrading machines and putting in place cutting edge maintenance protocols.
The Role:
The Role of Maintenance Engineer will contain the following responsibilities and activities:
Planned Maintenance following a robust schedule that has resulted in a heavy reduction of common breakdowns
Predictive maintenance using techniques like thermal imaging and vibration analysis to try and find issues before they arise
Reactive maintenance on all the machines on site which include: Conveyors, Hammer Mills, Pasteurizers, Mixers
Working mechanically with: Pumps, gearboxes, Chains, Pulleys, Belts, Pneumatics, valves
Electrically working with: Sensors, Relays, Contactors, Invertors, Drives
An on Call rota that boosts your earnings by £5,000-£6,000 a year on top of your basic
The Candidate:
A successful candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have the following:
A recognised Engineering Qualification
Experience working as a maintenance engineer in an industrial setting
Experience working mechanically, stripping and rebuilding as well as swapping like for like
Experience with electrical safety procedures
Happy to work an on call rota
Be able to get stuck in and work well within a team of engineers

A Basic salary of up to £43,000
