A motivated multi-skilled maintenance engineer is required for our award winning Sunday Times Fast Track 100 business engineering client based near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The ideal maintenance engineer will have the following skills and experiences;

* Good mechanical andel electrical engineering experience, good electrical tools, wiring, AC/DC motors generators experience

* Good ability and experience in fault finding controls, wiring distribution systems, diagnostics and interpreting and reading engineering drawings and diagrams

* Engineering qualifications in maintenance, service, electrical, mechanical, electrical mechanical engineering fields

* Good experience of hydraulics, pumps, valves, motors

* Multi-skilled maintenance, service and repair experience is desirable but can be developed if the above engineering experience amd skills are evident

* Full driving licence and able and willing to travel in field based service role (4 days at customer sites, 1 day at depot)

* Commutable into London and client sites across the South and able to get to Aylesbury site once a week ideally

Desirable

* Multi-skilled maintenance, service and repair experience is desirable but can be developed if the above engineering experience and skills are evident

* Service experience of large vehicles, heavy plant machinery, basic petrol, diesel engines or generators, large and small machines or similar equipment

* Ex forces service engineers, REME engineers, RE engineers with good service and maintenance experience of trucks, tanks, heavy plant equipment, fleet of vehicles, would be of distinct interest

This maintenance engineer role is field based and you will be required to travel to customer construction sites throughout the south, mainly London. There is a company van and fully expensed travel with overtime available. You will join a small team of supportive and friendly field service engineers who are committed to providing an excellent customer service to the clients and representing the company.

Some key responsibilities of this maintenance engineer role include;

* Diagnostic, inspection, part identification, testing, service and repair, rectification of faults of electrical and mechanical machinery at customer sites and in the fleet depot

* Test, inspection and certification safe operation of electrical mechanical plant in fleet

* Install and commission new machinery and equipment in line with safety regulations, customer requirements and manufacturers specifications
