We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our clients growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of their logistics department, including overseeing the delivery of goods, ensuring the accuracy of shipments, and coordinating with suppliers and customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics processes and procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities:
Manage the transportation of goods and services.
Plan and coordinate the distribution of goods and services.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient operations.
Analyse and monitor inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
Develop reports on the performance of logistics operations.
Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers
Planning and overseeing incoming and outgoing deliveries
Overseeing logistics, warehouse and transport services
Planning and analysing budgets and expenditures
Enforcing industry laws and regulations and company policies
