The school is looking for a passionate and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team and work towards this vision. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and group support to SEND students in the classroom and around the school.
Help plan and implement effective strategies to support students with their learning and behaviour management.
Monitor and assess student progress and report back to teachers.
Support students with personal care needs, including toileting and feeding.
Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
Accompanied students on school trips and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Liaise with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the care and support of SEND students.The ideal candidate attributes:

Resilient and able to work under pressure.
Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about supporting the learning and development of SEND students.
Experience working with SEND students, preferably in a school setting.
Ability to adapt and be flexible in response to changing situations.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
