Lovely Primary School School – Aylesbury – Long term – September start – Learning Support Assistant – £85 to £95 per day
Are you someone that enjoys helping students with extra learning needs? Are you about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, we've got an awesome opportunity for you!
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll be important in supporting students with extra learning needs. You'll make sure they have what they need to shine academically and feel great in school. You'll team up with teachers and other pros to come up with cool plans and do one-on-one sessions or small group work. You've got patience, empathy, and can help students overcome challenges and build their skills.
Responsibilities:
One-on-one or in small groups with students who need some extra help.
Help teachers with lesson plans, making sure stuff suits every student's needs.
Boost students' academic and social skills, so they feel confident and independent.
Team up with teachers, parents, and other cool folks to set up unique plans for each student and see how they're doing.
Make sure everyone feels safe and included, spreading good vibes and looking after their emotional well-being.
Requirements:
You've done some work as a Learning Support Assistant or have experience working with children
you love helping students with extra learning needs.
You know about different learning difficulties, like dyslexia, ADHD, and speech and language
You're the understanding type when students face challenges.
Able to adapt your teaching style to different students
Bonus if you have Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications.
