We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their team in September. ***Supportive Learning Assistant – Aylesbury,
***Previous experience in a school environment required, with experience in SEN, particularly Autism, desirable

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to a group of six students diagnosed with Autism. Your responsibilities will include creating a safe and nurturing learning environment, ensuring equitable access to learning opportunities for individuals and groups. Collaborating with staff and external professionals is vital, with a focus on promoting students' social and emotional well-being while fostering the development of essential life and communication skills. Your active involvement in all aspects of education and learning within your assigned class will be instrumental in delivering the specific provisions outlined in students' Education, Health, and Care Plans. Flexibility, adaptability, and a sense of humour are highly valued qualities as you contribute to a positive team ethos.
Key Requirements:
***Recent experience working with young people in a school environment
***Effective communication skills to engage with all members of the school and wider community, facilitating strong partnerships between school and home
***Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm when supporting students who require additional assistance
***A positive and proactive attitude, fostering a “can do” mindset shared with students and colleagues to cultivate a cohesive team spirit
***Flexibility and the willingness to adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances
