A little bit more about the role:
– This is a Mon – Fri role with two shifts rotating on a weekly basis – Week 1 06:00 – 15:30 – – Week 2 11:30 – 21:00
– On-call rota with on-call payments and overtime available
– This is a hands-on role ensuring the Anaerobic Digestion plant functions safely, efficiently and effectively
– Monitor the de-packers, assist with banksman duties and assist the engineering team as required
– Undertake, allocate and schedule a range of day-to-day tasks for your team of operators
– Ensure your team remains motivated and on-task throughout their shift
– Ensure the required environmental checks are completed
– Look for opportunities to continuously optimise and develop the current process
What are we looking for?
As you can imagine, you’ll need a broad range of personal skills to succeed, but we don’t expect you to have everything from the start! We will coach, train and support you; it’s more important that you have the right interpersonal skills and the intelligence to grasp our business and take us forward.
We will be looking for:
– Experience in an industrial-related field, ideally anaerobic digestion or waste recycling (desirable but not essential)
– Experience of working on a mobile plant (desirable but not essential)
– Experience of managing activities and performance within defined process parameters
– High SHEQ standards and sound knowledge of safety practices
– An industry- or role-related qualification would be beneficial but not essential
– Experience of SCADA systems would also be an advantage
