The Role: Lab Engineer
The role will be extremely varied, with the opportunity to do some really interesting lab work and be involved in the R&D campaigns, as well as using your hands-on skills. You will be a pivotal part of the R&D team, involved in the experimental phase of development.
You will also be responsible for the following:
* Managing your time within the lab, ensuring all tests are carried out within a reasonable timescale.
* Running through the data, forming an analysis and creating reports to feedback to the team.
* Building systems to use in R&D, by way of mechanical assembly and wiring (training will be provided)
* Using your problem-solving ability to generate ideas for unusual test requirements.
The Candidate: Lab Engineer
The successful candidate will consider themselves to be meticulous with excellent time management skills. You will also have:
* A degree in physics or engineering (chemical engineering, robotics, electronics, or mechanical)
* A practical mind-set
* Fantastic communication skills.
* An inquisitive nature.
