A warm and welcoming SEN specialist school for children based in Aylesbury are looking for Teaching Assistants to support children who have a primary diagnosis of Autism. This role would be a great opportunity for graduates, candidates with relevant experience within youth work or education candidates will also be considered!
The Specialist School in Aylesbury has great transport links and the role is full-time starting ASAP. The children are aged 7 to 19.
In this role you will build frontline, practical experience with young people with significant needs and learn to understand how to communicate and support them, through the help of trained professionals and experienced team members. Plus you will gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs such as Autism and ADHD. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring educational or occupational psychologist, therapist, counsellor, teacher or even criminal justice officer!
The SEN School is looking for a Mental Health Assistant/Teaching Assistant who can bring enthusiasm, passion and experience to the classroom. They are looking for a SEN TA who will be proactive and adaptable and be able to use their own initiative. Resilience and confidence to work with challenging behaviour is desirable!
