The Company – Events Sponsorship and Sales Manager

Our client is a charitable membership organisation based near Princes Risborough, Bucks. They’re seeking an Events Sponsorship and Sales Manager to join their growing team.

This position requires a minimum of 4 days in the office per month, which can be undertaken in any structure you like, with the rest working remotely from home. You must be based in the UK, and able to travel.

The Role – Events Sponsorship and Sales Manager

Reporting to the Senior Events Manager, you’ll be responsible for organising and delivering events across the UK, developing business at events by managing relationships with sponsors, retaining them, and getting more! You’ll essentially look after the sales process through sponsorship and exhibitor sales.

You’ll work closely with external stakeholders including volunteers, members, businesses, exhibitors, sponsors, training providers, and venue providers, being one of the first faces of the organisation.

Our client does around 200 events a year from webinars to awards to conferences. There will be travel around the UK, especially to London so some later days and flexibility will be expected.

Requirements – Events Sponsorship and Sales Manager

Experience in organising events of all sizes, including online webinars.
Confident in networking, taking an account management-focused approach to developing relationships for sponsorships, and at event sales.
Experience in managing sales processes.
Able to travel across the UK, ideally with your own transport (expenses paid).

Due to the location of the offices, suitable commutable areas include High Wycombe, Chinnor, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Slough, Watford, Reading, Aylesbury, Didcot, Bicester, and wider areas of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
