Production Delivery Manager – Engineering / Rail

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Engineering team in Aylesbury.
The Role – Production Delivery Manager
Reporting to the Head of Fleet Delivery, as the Production Delivery Manager you will support the continuous improvement of production strategies and help co-ordinate the production activities throughout all our sites, recognising upcoming projects and the need to develop closer integration.
Your duties will include, although will not be limited to:
* Assisting and leading projects to ensure they are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to established standards and expected quality
* Supporting continuous improvement through analysis of existing practices in order to improve business performance, reduce life cycle costs, and improve reliability
* Developing the strategic development of fleet and maintenance facilities to meet future business growth
The Package
* Salary of £55,000
* Permanent contract
* Working 35 hours per week
* Hybrid working option, combining working from home with working at our site in Aylesbury

Our Requirements – Production Delivery Manager
* Experience in managing a depot
* Superb leadership experience, managing a team, solving problems, and making decisions
* An appropriate Engineering qualification such as a BTEC, NVQ, City and Guilds or similar
* Experience of budget management
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Self-motivated with ability to use own initiative and prioritise tasks
