Contek Recruitment are working with a precision engineering client in Aylesbury, who are looking for a CNC Turner to join their growing team. Our client manufacture small components for the Medical and Energy sectors. They have recently made heavy investments into their facilities and machinery.
DUTIES:
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using FANUC controls.
* Working to extremely tight tolerances.
* Reading, understanding, and working from engineering drawings.
* Adhering to, and complying with company policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Previous CNC turning experience is required.
* Previous experience with FANUC control systems is desirable (not essential)
For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to be trained in offline programming, and also the chance to be trained on their sliding-head lathes.
WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Thursday (07:30 to 16:30)
Friday (07:30 to 13:30)
