My client in Haddenham , Aylesbury is currently in need of a Buyer due to expansion
Responsibilities include:
* Place and rescheduling purchase orders using ERP suggestions.
* Support with Inventory Management / levels / stock targets.
* Working closely with overseas team to coordinate with Far East suppliers.
* Working closely with internal customers on delivery and stock levels.
* Negotiating with suppliers to drive cost reduction.
* Management of B & C Class suppliers for chosen commodity.
* Sending RFQ to suppliers and consolidating prices.
* Other tasks from time to time as required by the business
Required
* Computer literate (MS Office: Word, Excel).
* Excellent phone manner.
* Team player.
* Ability to work at a fast pace in a changing environment.
* Previous Supply Chain or Purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
The salary for the Buyer role is paying £26k per annum with lots additional benefits on top
