About the role
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Officer on a 2 year fixed term contract to free existing staff to work on a large internal project.
On the Job you will:
Work with suppliers to create interfaces between systems as required for the Agile IT Project.
Writing (sometimes complex) SQL queries against MS SQL Server Databases.
Creating and maintaining the structures necessary for data storage.
Developing our Microsoft Power BI Reporting ensuring it meets our user needs including the set up of new reports and the amendment of existing ones
Developing and using tools for loading/transferring data between different systems, using them to join together different datasets.

About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data and people across the business and helping meet their informational needs.
For this role you will need:
Experience of setting up interfaces between systems
Proven ability to use report writing tools (such as Power BI and Reporting Services) and the ability to apply reasoning and informed logic to the production of reports to ensure that all work generated is appropriate to the request and the desired outcome.
Reporting skills will be accompanied with the ability to use Microsoft Office to a high standard, particularly Excel and Access for the analysis of large datasets.
