Air Conditioning Engineer

Salary: £35k-£40k

Location: Aylesbury

My client is currently looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team. It is a direct pathway to senior HVAC management roles within an exciting, high-growth company.

Air Conditioning Engineer – Job Role:

Perform installation and commissioning, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning and mechanical services, AHU, and other air handling and ventilation equipment.

Occasionally provide reactive maintenance according to the client's contract requirements or agreed response times.

Experience working in domestic and commercial installation of air conditioning and heat pump technology.

Offer a high level of air-conditioning technical and hands-on support in delivering our services and daily communication with clients.

Respond promptly and effectively to all reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests associated with HVAC services and related mechanical systems or components.

Must be flexible with a positive attitude and approach to working hours in order to meet clients' needs.

Proactively contribute to the growth of the business in other service areas, such as mechanical and electrical, life cycle replacements, and project works, among others.

Air Conditioning Engineer – Person Requirements:

Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Installing, Testing, and Maintaining Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems (6187-01) Plus Installing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems (6187-02).

Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Servicing and Maintaining Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems (6187-04).

City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas CAT1 ODS Regulations Qualification.

City & Guilds 6187-21 (6187) Hydrocarbon Qualification.

A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience with a clear background in installing split heat-pump systems.

Experience in the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of air conditioning and heat pump units.

Electrical awareness and ability to troubleshoot faults.

Experience in managing workload independently.

Must possess a valid full UK driving license.

Strong work ethic and self-motivation to seek future training and development as the business expands.
