You're a Service Engineer looking for a new challenge and being the face of our business. You might be a Maintenance Engineer looking to get out on the road, and this could be the perfect opportunity with 95% of our customer base within 60 miles of our office in High Wycombe. With us, you'll become our product expert in air compressors working with brand names such as CompAir, Gardner Denver and Ingersoll Rand. You'll be our technical 'go to' person.
BASIC SALARY: Up to £30,000 dependant on your relevant experience

JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer – Air Compressors, Industrial, Engineering
As our Service Engineer, you'll become a specialist in our product range of Air Compressors and associated equipment. You'll be carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reacting to breakdowns, and carrying out installation work at clients' sites.
We have a good local, loyal client base territory with about 95% of our business based within a 60 mile radius of the office, so you're staying closer to home. When you're not on customer sites you'll be based in our workshop recommissioning and stripping down the equipment we hold here.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer – Air Compressors, Industrial, Engineering
As our Service Engineer you'll be:
· Utilising your mechanical and electrical experience to fault find and provide PPM to our customers compressors
· Carrying out energy saving surveys and leak detection projects
· Occasionally be involved with the installation of new compressors
· Available for 24 hour call out on rotation alongside our other field service engineers
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer – Air Compressors, Industrial, Engineering
You're going to be the face of our business, so we need you to be a customer focused Service Engineer and a good people person. You'll be part of a small team and work closely with everyone in the business to achieve the same common goal.
You're the expert in our business when it comes to fault finding and ideally, you'll have experience working with air compressors. However, any types of compressors, pumps or generators will be sufficient.
You might be a Field Service Engineer already, or maybe a static Maintenance Engineer looking to get out on the road.
As our Service Engineer you'll:
· Have great communication skills to build relationships with your colleagues and customers
· Have a rounded technical background covering mechanical and electrical. Whether you learned on the job or have recognised qualifications, we don't mind
· Be enthusiastic and provide outstanding customer service time after time
· Be comfortable working alone and be great at problem solving
