Freelance Project Manager Opportunity: Overhead Line & Excavation Expert (LV to 33kV)
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a knack for overseeing Overhead Line and excavation projects, ranging from LV to 33kV?
We are currently seeking a skilled freelance Project Manager to lead diverse projects in the Aylesbury area, primarily focused on diverting poles and undergrounding assets to facilitate the HS2 route and associated works.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Take charge of end-to-end project management, overseeing the diversion of poles and undergrounding assets, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.

Technical Expertise: Utilise your expertise in Overhead Line and excavation techniques to ensure successful delivery of projects within the LV to 33kV voltage range.

Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues promptly.

Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate a solid understanding of commercial aspects, including budget management, cost control, and contract negotiation, to drive project success and profitability.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in Overhead Line and excavation projects, with exposure to voltages from LV to 33kV.
* Excellent understanding of pole diversion and asset undergrounding processes, particularly in relation to infrastructure projects such as HS2.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, stakeholders, and team members to foster collaborative working relationships.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project finances effectively to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
* Relevant qualifications and certifications in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, or related fields would be advantageous.
