Our client design, develop and fabricate precision components and for industries including motorsport. They support customer racing in championships around the world and they are looking for skilled and enthusiastic individuals to join their team!
Production Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
* To undertake tasks required to sustain production
* To seek and identify opportunities to make change to processes to increase efficiencies
* Collaborate with departmental heads to design and develop these processes
* Create and implement work instructions (SOPs) and quality guidelines
* Identify new equipment that will improve manufacture speed and quality
* Build and present a case for it
* To observe and understand inhouse manufacturing processes and undertake tasks required to improve processes
* To design and implement new manufacturing processes
The Ideal Production Engineer Will:
* Have a good understanding of SolidWorks
* A clear and demonstrable understanding of engineering and manufacturing practices
* Ability to design jigs, fixtures and tooling to aid the manufacture and quality of parts
* Create engineering drawings for use both internally and externally
* Knowledgeable of metallics
