Our client are looking for a new engineer to join the team at our busy depot in Aylesbury. You would be responsible for helping with all the company's technical and engineering requirements for its fleet of powered access equipment. Working on scissor lifts, boom lifts, the ideal candidate will already have experience in the powered access industry. However, candidates with other plant, agricultural or forklift engineering experience will also be considered. The day-to-day tasks include servicing and maintenance of powered access equipment, fault-finding, and repair.
Key responsibilities include:
· Powered Access repairs on the company's hire machines and third party machines.
· Carrying out PDIs / LOLER's
· Assisting with services and refurbishments
· General workshop duties
· On site breakdowns / call outs
Company Van and ongoing training would be provided with a competitive salary.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
· Proven qualifications and experience as an Powered Access Engineer/Plant Fitter
· A valid driving licence (required)
· Able to work as part of a Team.
· Customer Service focused.
· IPAF CAP Licence (optional)
Job Type: Full-time permanent
Working hours 42.50 per week
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
